 A great range of tramme kits (pronounced trammay). Tramme is a traditional type of tapestry (or needlepoint) on which the design is laid out on the canvas using horizontal, long-stitched, lines of wool yarn, instead of being painted or printed. This makes it very easy to work out which colour of wool to use, working through the larger holes in the normal way using half-cross stitch (or tent stitch) with the yarns included. This form of needlework is ideally suited to furnishing uses (cushions/pillows, chair/stool seats and backs) because of it's hard wearing properties. the tapestry is worked on 10 hpi double thread canvas There are lots more kits availalbe in the range.  Elizabeth Bradley designs have to be some of our best truly Britsih designs. All the pieces are worked in cross stitch in wool on Zweigart 10 hole single interlock tapestry canvas with plenty of room round the sides to practise and to enlarge if required . The kits all come with a full size colour photo on card and a colour coded chart plus detailed instructions. The background wool is as shown on the pictures here but you can exchange the background colour others, please ask . Always a very popular choice.
