Before bringing please do make sure that your work is complete, check for missing stitches by holding up to a light, and check that the edges are straight with no 'steps'.
Please do not trim the canvas, we need the extra.
We straighten tapestries by steaming and stretching them -- £18.50 up to 18 inch square then will quote beyond that size ..Maximum is 120cm x 80cm.
We regularly make them into wonderful cushions and wallhangings.or we string them onto board and frame .
Cushions are made up with your own fabric for the back, self piped (with the backing fabric) and will have a concealed zip across the back for £39.50
Options - You can choose from our selection of suitable weight fabrics for the back at a charge of £12,
We can inset a small tapestry into fabric to make a bigger cushion front for an additional £12
Again you can provide your own choice of decorative piping or trim but a charge of £12 will be made for hand stitching.
A feather pad can be provided - costing brtween £5 and £8.

We can mount and string your piece onto acid free board so that it is ready for a frame.

Hire us
Our large classroom is available to hire - comfortably accomodates 10 -12 people- and has ample parking. Either in half day (3 hours) or full day ( £100 for 6 hours). Contact us for availibility.
