Working on large hole Aida fabrics does make life so much easier. The holes are bigger and more spaced out and the cloth is robust enough to use with out a hoop. Designs are also less complicated, offering great results with fewer colour changes, half stitches and fiddly bits!
We have used a size 18 tapestry needle in our kits, blunt ended and with a really big eye!
