This can be bewildering!
We have a range of Aida, linens, evenweaves, and more. They are all guaged by measuring how many holes per inch - the count. The higher the count the tinier your stitches will be!
Aida is the block weave most commonly used for cross stitch.
All are from Zweigart, the premier manufacturer of needlework fabrics. Their fabrics are correct, straight, and sizing and colours are consistent. Please ring or email if you cannot see what you need or require advice.

Anne Cloth (Afghan) 7588 - white . Arrived 28/8 phew!

Fantastic soft open weave cotton with count of 18 holes to inch divided up into squares roughly 5 inches square .Brilliant for pram and cot covers . lovely to sew .

Monks Cloth

7.5ct soft cotton fabric with good open holes like binca . so easy to see where to put needle . Handles much softer and is more flexible than binca . Klostern is similar , it is just a more rustic look .

Plastic Canvas

Flexible but sturdy plastic canvas, use for 3D projects, bags, book covers, decorations, key fobs, etc. It doesn't fray, is easy to cut and to handle.
Also great for young children learning to stitch as it keeps its shape.
